I did the condition inspection over three weekends in September. I finished the inspection on October 1st.
Here is a list of the things I did:
- Checked compliance with all current applicable service bulletins and directives
- Replaced the right main landing gear tire
- Inspected brakes
- Greased main gear wheel bearings
- Checked the nose gear breakout force
- Greased the nose gear vertical shaft zirk fitting
- Replaced all 12 sparkplugs
- Inspected the alternator drive belt and all engine hoses
- Topped off brake fluid
- Cleaned both air filters
- Cleaned the fuel filter in the engine compartment
- Replaced both fuel filters in the wing roots
- Verified operation of the ELT
- Inspected the flight controls
- Inspected the propeller and governor
- Inspected the seats, seatbelts and interior
- Changed the oil and filter
- Completed compression check on all six cylinders (see previous post)
